Russian company in the second quarter of 2019 will supply pipes to Turkmenistan for the TAPI gas pipeline

For the construction of the linear part of the TAPI gas pipeline (Turkmenistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan - India), the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant Group (ChPRPG) has contracted to ship more than 150 thousand tons of large-diameter pipes (LDP) to the Turkmengas state concern, the official website of the Oil and Gas Complex Turkmenistan "with reference to the press service of ChPRP.

Under the terms of the contract, about 200 kilometers of the TAPI gas trunkline on the territory of Turkmenistan will be laid with pipes of the ChPRP Group. The first delivery of LDP with a diameter of 1420 mm with an external anti-corrosion coating made of steel of strength class X70 will be held in the second quarter of 2019.

The project was financed by three financial institutions. The ChPRP Group's partner, Sberbank, as well as the Islamic Development Bank and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, professionally organized international cooperation and structured the transaction confirming the payment obligation of the pipe in the amount of more than $ 200 million.
