The Turkmenistan Hockey Federation announced the names of the best players of the “Neutrality Cup” tournament. Armen Movsesyan was named best goaltender, Musa Annasaparov was named best defenseman, and Arslan Dovletmyradov was named best forward—all players from the “Galkan” Hockey Club of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The “Neutrality Cup” was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. Eight teams participated in the competition, organized by the Hockey Federation with the support of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports: “Galkan”, “Nesil”, “Vatanchi”, “Merdana”, “Burgut”, “Oguzhan”, “Shir”, and “Alp Arslan”.
“Galkan” and “Shir” faced off in the final. The MVD team won with a score of 9:7. “Oguzhan's” hockey players won bronze, defeating “Alp Arslan” in the third-place match.
