1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to the Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church, Cardinal Kevin Farrell, in connection with the death of Pope Francis. In the message, the head of state noted that "the great efforts of Pope Francis to establish friendly relations between religions and strengthen peace, tranquility and unity throughout the world will forever remain in the memory of all peoples."
2. At a working meeting on the digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed ongoing agricultural work and fire prevention measures. Deputy Prime Minister Atahalliyev reported on the ongoing care of wheat crops in accordance with agrotechnical standards and the organized sowing of cotton.
3. Within the framewokr of a friendly visit to Kazakhstan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the national historical and cultural reserve-museum "Hazret-Sultan" in Turkestan. Accompanied by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, he visited the mausoleum of Hoja Ahmet Yasawi, where the muftis of the two countries read verses from the Holy Quran and prayers.

4. The delegation also visited the national cultural complex "Ethnoaul", where they got acquainted with the Kazakh yurt, household items and traditional handicrafts.

6. The Turkmen-Turkish business forum "Turkmenistan and Türkiye: Modern Directions of Economic Cooperation" was held in Afyonkarahisar, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan. The event brought together more than 100 heads of Turkish companies. Ambassador of Turkmenistan Mekan Ishangulyev emphasized that the country takes a responsible approach to the development of international trade partnership. The participants discussed promising areas for Turkish investment, including the oil and gas chemical industry, the agro-industrial complex, the transport and logistics sector and telecommunications.
7. Japanese language teachers from Turkmenistan, spouses Esenmyrat and Maysa Dadayev, have successfully completed their master's degree in International and Higher Japanese-Language Education at the University of Tsukuba. The couple, who work at the Oguz han University of Engineering and Technology in Ashgabat, became the first representatives of Turkmenistan to complete a master's degree in this field in Japan. The Dadaevs are currently pursuing their doctoral studies, planning to research modern methods of teaching Japanese and continue their professional careers in their homeland.
World
1. A team of scientists from the University of California, Berkeley, has developed a technology that allows the human eye to perceive an entirely new color – an unusually saturated blue-green shade called “Olo.” The scientists used the Oz laser system to selectively stimulate only the M-cones, allowing subjects to see a color of unprecedented saturation. The participants of the experiments unanimously rated the saturation of "Olo" with the maximum score - 4 out of 4, while the almost monochromatic colors of similar shades received a rating of only 2,9. This discovery caused a lively debate in the scientific community about whether it can really be classified as a new color.

2. The first special beach for visually impaired visitors has opened in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The initiative is part of a government program to ensure accessibility of public spaces. The new beach is located on the Corniche embankment in the Gate 3 area and occupies an area of 1000 square meters. Visiting the beach is free for both visually impaired people and one accompanying person. The infrastructure includes tactile paths, Braille signs, a fenced path with a guide rope and sound beacons for access to the bathing area, special floating chairs, adapted sanitary rooms and allocated parking spaces. The beach is open daily from 6 am to midnight, while swimming is allowed only until sunset. A medical worker is on duty at all times.

1. The Turkmenistan national hockey team defeated the Bosnia and Herzegovina team with a score of 3:1 in the opening match of the World Championship in the third division of пroup A, which is taking place in Istanbul. Musa Annasaparov, Kerven Bayliyev and Dovlet Рydyrov scored goals for the Turkmen team. Ilyas Veliyev's team will play their next match against the Turkish team on April 22 at 22:00 Ashgabat time, and then play with Luxembourg, Kyrgyzstan and South Africa.
