1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Atahalliyev and velayat governors. The main focus was on the pace of seasonal work in the agro-industrial complex and regions. As noted, wheat sowing will start on September 4. Along with this, preparations are underway for the cotton harvesting campaign, including the preparation of cotton gins, receiving points, cotton harvesters and vehicles for transporting raw materials. Rice fields in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are being tended, and inter-row cultivation and mineral fertilization are being carried out in the fields of the Mary velayat sown with sugar beets.
2. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the “Çalik Holding” Group of Companies Ahmet Çalik. During the meeting, the issues of implementing major projects in Turkmenistan and prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed. The Turkish businessman demonstrated construction projects in the white marble Ashgabat of a complex of buildings of a new modern Trade Center. Having familiarized himself with the presented projects, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that when constructing social buildings, an important requirement is a harmonious combination of national traditions and modern trends, as well as high quality of work. When implementing planned projects, it is necessary to take into account the natural features of the area, strictly observe environmental norms and international standards.
4. The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov shared a new photo of his faithful four-legged friend, a Turkmen alabai named Akdost. In the photo, the dog is lying on a sandy shore. Under the photo, Minnikhanov published a quatrain by the veteran of Tatar children's literature Bari Rahmat, which talks about nostalgia for the passing summer. Akdost was presented to Minnikhanov by the President of the International Ahal-Teke Equestrian Association and the International Association “Turkmen alabai” Serdar Berdimuhamedov in 2021. Then the dog was still a puppy, and today he has grown into a real handsome alabai.
5. UNICEF Turkmenistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Education opened a new robotics club at secondary school No. 1 in Arkadag. The club was created to inspire students to study science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through hands-on learning and to become a role model for other schools. 8. The Turkmenistan National Futsal Team will hold a training camp in Dubai from September 3 to 13 under the leadership of head coach Yakub Ovezov. Within the framework of the training camp, the team will play three friendly matches: on September 5 against the Saudi Arabian team, on September 7 against the French team and on September 9 against one of the local teams. To prepare for the training camp, the head coach called up 18 players.
9. At the Junior World Kickboxing Championships that ended in Budapest, Turkmen athletes won five medals: one gold, one silver and three bronze. More than 3100 athletes from 69 countries took part in the competition. The Turkmenistan team was represented by 17 athletes, five of whom achieved success in various sections. Jasurbeg Ahmedov won the gold medal in the “kick-light” section of the up to 37 kg weight category, having won four victories. Serdar Bekenov won the silver medal in the up to 51 kg weight category, having fought three fights. Ymamguly Rejepov, Salamathan Baltayev and Nepes Bashimov became bronze medalists.
