President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov spoke today about the importance of increasing government purchase prices for cotton and grain in order to economically stimulate farmers during a working trip to the city of Arkadag.
As the Watan information program reported, one of the main directions of the state policy of Turkmenistan is to increase the efficiency of all structures of the agro-industrial complex, strengthen the material and technical base of the industry, and purchase high-performance equipment that meets local soil and climatic conditions.
In the context of creating favorable working conditions for farmers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing government purchase prices for cotton and wheat in order to economically stimulate farmers, as well as preparing relevant proposals.
“This is of particular importance in increasing the interest of farmers in the results of their labor and increasing the volume of production, further increasing the economic potential of the country,” the program said.
