1. A multidisciplinary cultural center for 4000 people will appear in Ashgabat in the next three years. The resolution on its construction was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The customer of the social facility is the capital's hyakimlik, and the contractor is the “Dovlet Gurlushyk” Economic Society. The document prescribes to hand over the facility with full readiness for operation and improvement of the adjacent territory in June 2026.
2. In Turkmenistan, there is an admission campaign to the higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country. From July 17 to 30, applicants submitted documents to their chosen universities and vocational schools. On August 2, the stage of passing the entrance exams will begin.
3. A number of important initiatives will be put forward by Turkmenistan at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which will begin work on September 12, 2023 in New York. This year, the Turkmen side plans to put forward an initiative to develop a Global Security Strategy. Another proposal of Turkmenistan concerns the creation of a Counter-Terrorism Program for Central Asia jointly with the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism. In addition, it will be proposed under the auspices of the UN to develop a comprehensive strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions until 2030 and others.
4. The State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan “Daihanbank” offers students a favorable loan for education – “Talyp karzy”. This loan is aimed at supporting students studying on a paid basis in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country, stimulating their creative initiatives and creating favorable opportunities for improving their skills. “Talyp karzy” is provided in a non-cash form to pay for tuition at higher and secondary vocational schools. The loan amount can reach 42 thousand manats. The annual interest rate is 5%. The loan repayment period is three years. To obtain a “Talyp karzy” loan, you must submit an application and provide the necessary documents through the official website of the bank www.dayhanbank.gov.tm.

6. From August 1, 2023, foreign citizens will be able to obtain a unified e-visa to travel to Russia. To obtain a unified e-visa, you must submit an application on a specialized website of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The application must be accompanied by a digital photo and a scan of the passport. A single electronic visa gives the right to a single entry into Russia and stay in the country for no more than 16 days out of 60 days of the visa validity period. With a single e-visa, you can come to Russia on a tourist, guest and business visit.
7. The Akimat of Astana decided to bring all the signs in the capital to a single style. The changes are carried out within the framework part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to strengthen control over the placement of street advertising. According to the new rules, the color of signage must match the color of the facade of the building and not be conspicuous. Also important is the symmetry in the placement of advertising signs and inscriptions and the restraint of the color scheme.

10. Turkmen athletes joined the 31st World Summer Universiade in Chengdu. This is the largest student competition, which is comparable to the Olympic Games. More than 5 thousand students from 120 countries compete in 18 sports at the Universiade. Turkmen athletes compete in four disciplines - judo, athletics, swimming and wushu. This is the fourth time that Turkmenistan has sent its representatives to the World Student Games. The country has been a member of the International University Sports Federation since 2012 and is making great efforts to develop youth sports.
