Fencing Championship of Turkmenistan will be held in Mary

The fencing championship of Turkmenistan starts on May 1 in the city of Mary. More than 100 athletes will take part in the competition, the Mir TV and radio company reports.

Following the results of the tournament, the composition of the national teams of Turkmenistan will be determined, which will take part in the World Youth Championship, the Asian Games and the World Championship in Milan.

In recent years, fencing has been popular with Turkmen youth, the newspaper notes.

The Fencing Federation of Turkmenistan is a full member of the International Fencing Federation.
