The Fencing Federation of Turkmenistan is enrolling in the sports section. Adults and children over the age of 7 are invited to participate.
Athletes of the federation have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of regional and international championships.
In 2016, the Balkan fencer Mengli Goyunlyeva won the international epee tournament in Bahrain. In 2017, in Kazakhstan, at the Blades of Alatau tournament, Jumanazar Dovletnazarov won the foil tournament, won 3rd place in the epee among juniors and 3rd place in the epee among men.
In team competitions in Kazakhstan, Turkmen fencers were awarded the third place in foil among juniors. In 2017-2018, the national team of Turkmenistan actively participated in the championships of Asia and the world, where it showed decent results.
