In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces changes to the visa regime. These innovations are intended to create more favorable conditions for doing business and developing the tourism sector in the country, Vecherniy Bishkek reports.
The key innovation will be the accelerated processing of electronic visas – now documents can be obtained in just one day after submitting an application by choosing a special tariff.
The new type of visa «Sapar» (type J) is intended for foreign citizens arriving in Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of business, tourism, visiting relatives or receiving medical services. The visa is valid for up to 90 days, and both single and multiple entries are allowed.
At the same time, visas of the old categories («business», «tourist», «mountain tourism») will be abolished.
You can apply for a visa under the new rules through the «Electronic Visa» portal, which will begin operating on January 22, 2025. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan calls on foreign citizens to plan their trips to the republic in advance, taking into account the new visa application procedure.
