1. Turkmenistan supports efforts to achieve peace and civil harmony, restore economic infrastructure and resolve social issues in Afghanistan. This was stated by National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a telephone conversation with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
2. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted the initiative of Turkmenistan to hold a Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian States and expressed readiness for active interaction with the UN. In particular, he proposed the creation of two peacekeeping centers on the territory of Turkmenistan, which will help maintain international peace and security, as well as prevent conflicts.
3. An international forum at the level of heads of state is planned to be held in December this year in Ashgabat. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also announced this during a telephone conversation. “This year we are faced with the task of implementing a large-scale program of events dedicated to the implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution “2025 - the International Year of Peace and Trust” and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. The international forum will be the main upcoming event. It is planned to be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat at the level of heads of state and heads of international structures,” noted Chairman Halk Maslahaty.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Edmondo Cirielli, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit. During the meeting, diplomats noted the importance of bilateral political dialogue. The prospects for the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Italy in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres are considered.

The new type of visa “Sapar” is intended for foreign citizens arriving in Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of business activities, tourism, visiting relatives or receiving medical services. The visa is valid for up to 90 days and allows both single and multiple entries.
