President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei and the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Soltan Ahmed Al Jaber. During the meeting, the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the fuel and energy complex, were discussed, TDH reports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of strengthening multilateral cooperation with the UAE, noting that the partnership covers the political and diplomatic sphere, trade and economic ties, transport and communications sector and construction of social facilities. Particular attention was paid to the coincidence of the positions of the two countries on maintaining peace and security, which creates a solid basis for interaction within international structures such as the UN.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of increasing cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, given the favorable geographical location and potential of both countries.
The President of Turkmenistan confirmed his readiness to intensify cooperation with the ADNOC company and noted the successful implementation of a number of projects with the participation of leading companies and investment structures of the UAE.
