The feature film Daragt by Turkmen director Sahysalykh Bayramov was included in the competition program of the XVII International Film Festival “Eurasia”, which will be held in Almaty from November 24 to 30.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the forum will also feature the Turkmen-Uzbek film “Magtymguly Fragi”, recognized as the best feature film of the IV International Film Festival Gorkut ata in Ashgabat.
The Eurasia Film Forum will bring together directors, actors, screenwriters, film critics and cinema lovers from more than 15 countries. Guests from Europe, Asia and the Middle East will bring their works to tell stories that unite everyone.
The International competition is an integral part of the Eurasia Film Festival, emphasizing its status as a significant cultural platform. The competition program of the film festival includes 12 films.
Participants present works that have already won recognition at other prestigious festivals, as well as films that are just beginning their cinematic journey.
The Turkmen film Daragt has already been awarded a special jury prize at the XVII Cheboksary International Film Festival.
