Ashgabat is actively preparing for the International Conference and Exhibition “Construction, Industry and Energy of Turkmenistan” (CIET 2024), which will be held from November 3 to 5.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”, the State Agency for Management of Road Construction and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
CIET 2024 aims to attract foreign investment in the construction, industrial and energy sectors of Turkmenistan, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the states of the region and international organizations. The conference will discuss issues of monetization and diversification of energy resources, modern trends in architecture and urban development, the potential of the “smart” city of Arkadag, production of building materials and financing of infrastructure projects.
Particular attention will be paid to strategic projects such as the “Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India” (TAPI) international gas pipeline and the modernization of power plants. Turkmenistan, which has become a major supplier of electricity in the region, offers significant opportunities for investors.
The conference will also include round tables and seminars where experts will discuss current trends in the construction, industrial and energy sectors. The exhibition will be an interactive platform for project presentations and discussions of current issues.
CIET 2024 will provide foreign investors with a wide range of opportunities for productive work in Turkmenistan, contributing to the further economic development of the country.
