1. On October 12, the first state visit of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Turkmenistan ended. During the visit, special attention was paid to the prospects for the development of Turkmen-Mongolian trade and economic relations. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed that Mongolia consider the possibility of using Turkmenistan's port infrastructure on the Caspian Sea. An important outcome of the visit was the signing of a package of bilateral documents, including agreements on air and road communications, cooperation in agriculture, veterinary medicine, culture and tourism.
2. A presentation of a collection of poems by the classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi, translated into Armenian, was held in Turkmenistan. The event was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and representatives of the Turkmen side. The event was accompanied by an exhibition of works of Turkmen fine and decorative arts, as well as a musical program.
3. In Ashgabat, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Chairperson of the UNESCO General Conference Simona Mirela Miculescu. The parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO. The importance of cultural and humanitarian events held in Turkmenistan was emphasized, in particular the high-level holding of the International Forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development”.
4. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed decrees on personnel changes in the leadership of the Bayramaly etrap of the Mary velayat. According to the documents, Atamyrat Yagmurov was relieved of his post as hyakim. Bayram Chungayev was appointed in his place.
5. Ashgabat resident and veteran of the Great Patriotic War Valentina Yakovlevna Zherdeva celebrated her 101st birthday. At the age of twenty, Valentina Yakovlevna volunteered for the front and fought against the invaders in the ranks of the artillery troops, where she operated anti-aircraft guns. For her courage, she was awarded a number of orders and medals. After the war, Valentina Yakovlevna worked at enterprises in Ashgabat.
6. Turkmenistan received a Certificate of Inclusion of the Nomination “Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Art and Horse Decoration Traditions” on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The event was held at the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy in Arkadag. The speakers emphasized the historical significance of this recognition for Turkmenistan, noting that it is a tribute to the traditions of Turkmen horse breeders and riders.
7. Representatives of the Austrian company Gerther visited the International Harbor of Turkmenistan – the Turkmenbashy Sea Port. The delegation members got acquainted with the port's potential, installed equipment and services provided. During the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of the Turkmenbashy International Sea Port, following which the CEO of the Austrian company Alexander Masinger highly praised the port's infrastructure. He also expressed interest in establishing cooperation in the supply of spare parts for port equipment. In this context, it was proposed to schedule a visit of the integrated group to Turkmenistan in November.

9. Legendary chess player Nigel Short, famous for his match for the world championship against Garry Kasparov in 1993, spent a week in Ashgabat, where he took part in several significant events. The highlight of his visit was the blitz tournament for the Cup of the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan, which took place on October 10. Short won, scoring 7,5 points out of a possible 9. The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by the British Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stephen Conlon, who personally presented the gold medal to his compatriot.
10. Football club “Altyn Asyr” of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency won 3:1 against “Ashgabat” in the postponed match of the 24th round of the Turkmenistan Premier League. The match remained goalless for a long time until Murad Annayev opened the scoring with a penalty in the 78th minute. Vahyt Orazsahedov increased the advantage of “Altyn Asyr” in the 85th minute, and just a few minutes later Annayev scored a double, also converting a penalty. “Ashgabat” managed to score a consolation goal in the last minutes of the match thanks to the efforts of Shamurad Mammedov. This victory permitted “Altyn Asyr” to return to second place in the championship. The team has 52 points, the same number as third-placed “Ahal”.
