1. The XXV Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was held in Ashgabat, in the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the Turkmen diasporas from a number of foreign countries, as well as delegates from all regions of Turkmenistan, took part in the forum. The participants heard a welcoming message from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The agenda included a report on the work done and a discussion of priority areas for the future activities of the Association.
2. During a working visit to the city of Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to take a responsible approach to the issues of accelerating the construction of the second stage of the new city and to ensure the commissioning of buildings within the established time frame. At a working meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag Orazov and the head of the city administration Mammedova, reports on the current state of work were heard and plans for attracting investment were discussed. During the meeting, issues of preparation for the resettlement of residents to new houses, as well as the organization of cultural events in honor of the upcoming national holidays were also discussed.
3. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty got acquainted with the projects of the second stage of construction of the city of Arkadag and the presented plans for the construction of a number of facilities, including a shopping center, a hotel, a modern park, residential buildings, a sanatorium, a General Education Center for Information Technology, a business center and the Agricultural University. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty carefully studied the drawings of the planned facilities and made a number of adjustments. Particular attention was paid to the project of the campus of the Agricultural University, which, according to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, needs to be revised.
4. A telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein. The parties exchanged views on the current state of Turkmen-Iraqi relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
5. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a presentation of a collection of poems by the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, published in the Georgian language. A Turkmen delegation arrived in Tbilisi to participate in this event, including representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, art and culture figures. The translation of Magtymguly's poems into Georgian is another striking example of friendship, brotherhood and close cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia, noted the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov.

6. Jan Ruz, an Estonian tightrope walker, made history by becoming the first person to cross the border between Asia and Europe on a tightrope over the Bosphorus Strait. This unique feat was performed on a rope stretched between the pillars of a bridge in Istanbul. Hundreds of spectators gathered to witness this exciting event. Ruz covered a distance of 1074 meters in 47 minutes, balancing 165 meters above the ground. The Bosphorus, which connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, serves as a natural border between Europe and Asia.
7. After the devastating blow of Super Typhoon “Yagi”, the city of Haikou in Hainan Province was left in ruins: fallen trees, broken windows and damaged buildings turned it into a disaster zone. However, residents did not remain indifferent to the fate of their city. In an unprecedented outburst of solidarity, about 60 000 people took to the streets to help with the recovery. Young people were especially active: about 20 000 young people volunteered to join the clean-up efforts.

8. Turkmen athletes won two bronze medals at the Asian Boxing Championship among juniors and schoolchildren in the UAE. Success was achieved by 16 years old Begench Kakamyradov in the weight category up to 50 kg and Sapargeldi Nuryagdyev in the welterweight category up to 70 kg. The competition was attended by 462 boxers from 26 countries.
9. A mini-football tournament dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence was held in Astrakhan. The event was organized by the Turkmen consulate. The competition was attended by teams of the Turkmen diaspora from the Astrakhan region and Stavropol Krai, as well as the Consulate team, consisting of Turkmen students studying at Astrakhan universities. Following the competition, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, the winners were awarded cups and medals, and the best players received individual awards.
