On September 14 and 15, two major events dedicated to elite horse breeds will be held at VDNKh in Moscow. The historic brood circle will be a platform for demonstrating the beauty and grace of these noble animals, bigasia.ru reports.
On September 14, an all-Russian exhibition and show of Ahal-Teke horses will be held. This ancient breed, whose history goes back more than five millennia, was bred in Turkmenistan. The event is organized with the support of the Russian Association of Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding. More than 30 best representatives of the breed from the leading stud farms and farms of Russia are expected to participate. In addition to the main exhibition, the audience will be able to enjoy the show-breeding and the “Traditional Decorations” contest, where festive horse decorations characteristic of the Turkmen culture will be presented.
On the next day, September 15, the Arabian thoroughbred horse championship will be held. This prestigious event is supported by the National Arabian Horse Society and the “Rosplemkonzavod” Association. An international panel of judges, which will include experts from Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Russia, will determine the absolute champion of the year. The championship program will be supplemented with spectacular equestrian shows.
Admission to the exhibition and championship will be free.
