As part of the visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Gurbanov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.
This was stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the opening of the comprehensive secondary school named after Magtymguly in the Dusti district of the Khatlon region of Tajikistan, which will become a symbol of friendship and brotherhood of the two countries.
The parties also noted the high level of development of bilateral relations and discussed the current state of trade and economic cooperation, interaction in the field of transport, energy and ecology. Particular attention was paid to cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Recall that the solemn ceremony of laying the foundation of this school took place as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Tajikistan in May last year, with the participation of the Heads of State of the two countries.
