The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, while on leave, visited the "Archman" sanatorium together with his grandchildren and great-grandson. 2. The international universal exhibition-fair “KidsExpo: everything for children” opened its doors in the capital of Turkmenistan. The exhibition pavilions, located in the Kids Expo mobile exhibition center behind the "Karakum" hotel, were filled with bright colors and children's laughter. On the first day of the exhibition, visitors will be able to enjoy colorful fashion shows of children's clothing, take part in an educational session on career guidance for teenagers and their parents, and also become spectators of an exciting performance by young taekwondo athletes.
3. A meeting was held in Istanbul between the Consul General of Turkmenistan M. Ovezov and the leadership of the Association of International Road Carriers of Türkiye (UND). Representatives of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan were also present at the meeting. The parties discussed innovative approaches to the development of transport and logistics, including the use of digital technologies to improve transport infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and UND.
4. The delegation of Turkmenistan went to Moscow to participate on August 21 in the concert “Truly he became the mouth of Turkmenistan,” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. The concert is held by the Moscow State Conservatory as part of the International Music Festival “Gathering Friends.” The concert will also include a lecture “The Legacy of Magtymguly and Contemporary Musical Art.”
5. Due to changes in the schedule of state-level events, the dates for the “Investment Forum of Turkmenistan” have been postponed to September 10-11. It was previously reported that Ashgabat is preparing to host more than 100 delegates from 20 countries at this important event, organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event has already generated significant interest among international media and financial circles.

8. The Central Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship has ended in Kazakhstan, where Turkmen athlete Jelilmuhammet Hojamyradov won the title of champion among adults. In the weight category up to 77 kg in the contact discipline, Hojamyradov did not lose to any opponent, winning in the final over a Kazakh athlete.The tournament was attended by 570 athletes from 6 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Italy and Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan was represented by 26 athletes who won a total of 17 medals - 2 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze.
9. Within the framework of the multidisciplinary exhibition KidsExpo, which takes place on the territory of the mobile exhibition center behind the "Karakum" hotel, the Football Federation of Turkmenistan is organizing a special section for children. In this section, children will be able to take their first steps into the world of football, meet famous football players of the country and even play with them. In a section reminiscent of a mini-football field, interesting discussions about football will be held, and children will also be able to try their hand at football in the fijtle format.
10. The current champion of Turkmenistan, FC "Arkadag", found itself in the second pot before the upcoming draw for the group stage of the AFC Challenge League for the 2024/25 season. The Asian Football Confederation has published the distribution of teams by basket. The group stage of the AFC Challenge League will be held in a centralized format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals. The draw on August 22 will determine the final composition of the groups and opponents of "Arkadag" in the upcoming tournament.
