The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the results of foreign policy activities for the first half of this year with the participation of heads and employees of the diplomatic service, the press service of the department reports.
At the meeting, reports were heard from deputy ministers and heads of a number of departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The tasks for the second half of the year were also discussed.
It was noted that by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated July 11, 2024, two new departments were created in the structure of the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: the Department of Foreign Policy
Information and Digital Diplomacy and the Department of Consular Service.
In this regard, the meeting set tasks to develop proposals for improving consular work and foreign policy information.
