Bayramgul Motyevna Orazdurdyeva was appointed the new Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for science, education, health, sports, youth and public issues.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding Decree during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers based on the results of six months of 2024, TDH reports.
At the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva replaced Amannepesov Nurmuhammet Kakabaevich, who was relieved of his post “due to a transfer to another job.”
Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the President of the country for the high trust placed in her, B. Orazdurdyeva assured that she would take all measures to fulfill the priority tasks assigned to this set.
Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva was born in 1975 in the city of Kizyl-Arvat, Balkan velayat. In 1996 she graduated from the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. By profession – lawyer.
She began her career in 1996 as a teacher at the Department of Constitutional Law at TSU. Magtymguly. She completed her postgraduate studies at the same university in the period 1996–1998.
From 1998 to 2014, she held various positions at TSU named after Makhtumkuli. In 2013, she was elected as a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation.
In 2014–2017 – Deputy Minister of Education for Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions. In 2017–2024, he was the rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. Since February 2024 – Minister of Education of Turkmenistan.
She was awarded the anniversary medals “Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna” and “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 30 ýyllygyna”.
