Consul of Turkmenistan to Germany Murad Ozbekbayev met with Bavarian State Minister for European and International Affairs Eric Beisswanger within the framework of a working visit to Bavaria, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of Turkmen-German interaction. Particular attention was paid to the development of interregional cooperation and prospects for partnership between Turkmenistan and the state of Bavaria in various fields. The negotiators also exchanged views on organizing joint trade and economic events.
During the visit, another important meeting took place - with Christoph Angerbauer, member of the Board and head of the international relations department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Munich and Upper Bavaria.
At these negotiations, the feasibility of establishing direct contacts between representatives of the business circles of Turkmenistan and Bavaria was discussed. In addition, the possibilities of organizing a joint business forum and holding an event in Munich presenting the economic potential of Turkmenistan were considered.
