1. The President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee were presented with two Alabai puppies as a gift during their state visit to Turkmenistan. The puppies were solemnly presented by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Accepting the gift, the Korean leader expressed sincere gratitude and called the puppies a symbol of strong friendship between the two countries.
2. During an official visit to Turkmenistan, a cultural program was organized for the wife of the President of the Republic of Korea, Kim Keon Hee. Together with the wife of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova, she visited an exhibition in the lobby of the “Arkadag” hotel, where examples of Turkmen cultural heritage were presented - handmade carpets, arts and crafts, jewelry, embroidery and museum exhibits. 3. The National Leader of the Turkmen people held a meeting with Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan, executive director of Dragon Oil. The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the fuel and energy industry. Al-Jarwan noted the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the UAE, based on mutual trust, and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work in Turkmenistan. Dragon Oil has been successfully operating in the country for many years.
4. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty met with the Chairman of the Board of Management of the Çalik Holding group of companies, Ahmet Çalık. During the conversation, the parties noted the historical fraternal ties between the Turkmen and Turkish peoples and expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his readiness to consider joint projects with Turkish partners in the oil and gas industry.
5. At the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people with the General Director of PETRONAS, Ismadi Bin Ismail, the possibilities of intensifying and developing new areas of cooperation were discussed, taking into account the economic development programs being implemented in Turkmenistan, major projects in the industrial sector, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for business. Emphasis was also placed on the joint activities of Turkmenistan with PETRONAS in training specialists for the oil and gas industry.
6. Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Rönesans Holding Erman Ilicak also expressed gratitude to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the meeting. The parties discussed the current state of cooperation and identified promising directions for its development. The head of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the fruitful and mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye, based on the historical, cultural and linguistic ties of the two peoples. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the successful implementation of new joint projects for the benefit of the development of Turkmenistan.
8. Turkmenistan celebrates Science Day today. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the country’s scientific community and participants in the international scientific conference “Science, technology and innovative technologies in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state”.
