President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree according to which, in honor of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, veterans will be presented with valuable gifts. TDH reports this.
The head of state instructed the hyakimliks of velayats, cities and etraps to organize the presentation in a solemn atmosphere. The document stipulates that cash gifts in the amount of 200 manats should be given to veterans.
Earlier, during a meeting of the State Security Council, which summed up the work of military and law enforcement agencies for the first four months of 2024, the President of Turkmenistan gave instructions on organizing celebrations dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held on May 9 in Ashgabat and velayats.
