The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the director of the German horse breeding company Jeýkob Ferdezuçt GBR Katharina Irena Anna Margaretha Jacob, TDH reports.
The guest arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in festive events dedicated to Ahal-Teke horses, as well as to discuss issues of international cooperation in the field of horse breeding.
During the conversation, the head of the highest body of people’s power of Turkmenistan emphasized that Ahal-Teke horses are an invaluable heritage of the Turkmen people, the result of centuries of work of their ancestors. In Turkmenistan, all conditions have been created for breeding this elite breed and preserving its purebred thanks to the local natural features and climate.
The guest highly appreciated the hospitality and organization of festive events in Turkmenistan. She noted the honor of being personally present in the homeland of the legendary Ahal-Teke horses, which she has been studying for a long time and for which she has a special affection.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the dynamic development of Turkmen-German cooperation, including in the horse breeding sector, as well as the personal contribution of Katharina Irena Anna Margaretha Jacob to the popularization of the Ahal-Teke breed in the international arena and the high awards of Turkmenistan that she was awarded.
The director of the horse breeding company assured that she considers it her life’s credo to further increase the glory of Ahal-Teke horses – the elite of world horse breeding.
