The Balam confectionery factory of entrepreneur Amandursun Begjanova was awarded five gold medals following the results of the International competition “Best Product of the Year - 2024”, which was held within the framework of the 31st exhibition of food, drinks and raw materials for their production “Prodexpo - 2024” in Moscow.

The following received high marks:

Zaman cookies with sesame cocoa,
croissant with “cream chocolate” filling,
Ýürek puff cookies with vanilla flavor,
Balam puff pastry with vanilla filling,
Zaman cookies with sesame seeds.

Product samples at the competition were evaluated by an expert commission, which included specialists from processing and food enterprises, industry unions and institutes, testing centers and governing bodies. The products of the Turkmen manufacturer impressed the commission members with their innovative approach and excellent taste.

The Balam company produces confectionery products in a workshop located in Ashgabat and operating since 2016. The production is equipped with equipment from Switzerland. The workshop produces 2,5 thousand tons of products monthly.

The factory's assortment includes more than 100 items, including puff pastry and shortcrust pastry products, baked goods, bread, oriental sweets and cakes. The company's products are in great demand not only among Turkmen buyers, but also among many consumers in the CIS. Thus, Balam confectionery products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, the company is actively developing new directions: contracts were recently concluded with Georgia and Azerbaijan.
