The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Mary velayat, where he held a working meeting with the participation of the velayat hyakim and the deputy hyakim for education, culture, health and sports, TDH reports.
One of the main topics of the workshop was the development of the region, in particular, the introduction of advanced technologies in agriculture, improving land reclamation, and increasing cotton and wheat yields.
The head of the Halk Maslahaty gave recommendations on carrying out agrotechnical work, increasing cotton production, as well as monitoring the quality of construction of industrial and social facilities.
Special attention was paid to the issues of patriotic education of youth and holding events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.
The leaders of the Mary velayat expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for their support, assuring that they will make every effort to further the socio-economic development of the region and improve the standard of living of the population.
