1. An official visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Türkiye will be in the near future. At a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the upcoming official visit to the Republic of Türkiye in the near future will open new pages in the further development of Turkmen-Turkish friendly and fraternal relations.
2. Elina Gurbanova, a student of the Special Music School at the Turkmen National Conservatory, won a bronze medal in the “Violin” category at the Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states, which were held in Bishkek. About 600 people aged 10 to 25 took part in the competition.
3. On October 11, Turkmenistan delivered humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken Afghanistan, consisting of medicines and medical supplies, as well as food and textile products. The cargo is intended for victims of the natural disaster that occurred on October 7 in the Afghan province of Herat. Humanitarian assistance was sent in accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and with the assistance of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
4. The V Vienna Ball was held in the new Turkmen city of Arkadag. The musical evening opened with the song “The City of Arkadag - the City of Happiness” performed by famous domestic vocalists, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Choir of Turkmenistan. Then, the Turkmen-Austrian symphony orchestra “Galkynysh” performed “Polonaise” by the Austrian composer and conductor Karl Michael Zierer. According to strictly observed procedures, the official opening ceremony of the Vienna Ball was marked by the appearance of 25 dancing couples.

5. The statistical agency Eurostat has published data on how much food an average European resident throws into the trash every year. Overall, the average European gets rid of approximately 131 kilograms of unused food per year. Of this, about 70 kg is thrown away directly from homes, the rest is waste from restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and food production. The most food is wasted in Belgium - up to 262 kg per person, and the least in Slovenia - 68 kg.
6. NASA scientists analyzed soil samples brought to Earth from the asteroid Bennu and discovered the presence of traces of water in them. Preliminary analysis showed the presence of water and carbon in the soil. This is exactly what the researchers hoped to find. “Water and carbon molecules are exactly the materials we wanted to find. These are extremely important elements in the formation of our planet. These samples will help us determine the origin of elements that could lead to the origin of life”, - explained NASA head Bill Nelson.
7. The world's first self-driving car rally will be in Abu Dhabi next April. Ten teams will take part in the competition, and the racers will be programmers who specialize in writing codes according to given specifications. The competition will take place on the Formula 1 track.

A graduate of Turkmen football, a coach known for his work with the Cameroon national team and many Russian clubs, Valery Nepomniachtchi will strike the ball symbolically before the start of a friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Cameroon. Nepomniachtchi is 80 years old and led the Cameroon national team from 1988 to 1990. Under his leadership, the Cameroonian team became the first African team to reach the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Let us remind that the Russian national team will meet with the Cameroon team today in Moscow at the “Dynamo” stadium. The game starts at 21:00 Ashgabat time. 9. The seventh round of qualifying for the 2024 European Football Championship will be on October 12-14. The 2024 European Football Championship will be held in Germany next year from June 14 to July 14. 24 teams will take part in it. Germany, as the host country, receives an automatic right to participate in the tournament. The remaining 23 teams will be determined based on the results of qualification.
