The national team of Turkmenistan won another medal at the II Games of the CIS countries, held in Grodno. Among boys up to 55 kg, Turkmen weightlifter Ali Babamuradov won a silver medal by lifting the barbell in the amount of 215 kilograms (95+120).
The gold medal was won by an Uzbek athlete, who showed the result of 240 kilograms (110+130), the Belarusian weightlifter Grigory Vertinsky, who lifted 194 kilograms (88+106), won the bronze medal.
In the medal standings, Turkmen athletes won two silver and three bronze medals.
