The results of the work of the Interdepartmental Commission of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea for the first half of the year were considered today at a regular meeting headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov.
The meeting was attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of a number of relevant ministries and departments of the country.
The meeting also identified specific tasks for the near future.
The meeting participants discussed the agenda for the Day of the Caspian Sea, annually celebrated in the country on August 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
