1. Turkmenistan has increased natural gas supplies to China. In March of this year, the export of blue fuel to China increased to 2,9 billion cubic meters. At present time, agreements have been reached between the countries on laying the fourth line of the gas pipeline, which will increase supplies to 65 billion cubic meters per year. Last year, Turkmenistan supplied 34 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China.
2. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship is actively preparing for the International Children's Day, celebrated on June 1. On this day, pupils of the Palace of Orphans and school graduates will be presented with valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
3. Kazakhstan is interested in the speedy implementation of the grain terminal project on the Turkmen-Afghan border. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar during the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and reached a number of agreements in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, and agriculture. It was noted that the market of Turkmenistan opens up great prospects for the export of Kazakh processed products. The transport and transit sector also has a huge potential for the two countries.
4. Soyun Orazdurdyev, a fifth-grade student of the children's art school in Turkmenbashi, won first place at the international children's mugham festival held in the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Representatives of seven countries took part in the creative competition. Turkmenistan was represented by three young dutarists - the successors of the traditions of the national performing arts.

The program of the creative action includes an international conference, a concert, an exhibition of fine, decorative, applied and photo art, a poetry evening, a screening of the Istärin film dedicated to the life and work of Magtymguly. 6. Alpine club “Agama” together with the Children's Fund of the Magtymguly Youth Union of Turkmenistan in honor of the International Children's Day organizes the Rock Festival, which invites everyone to try their hand at mountaineering. The festival will be held at the Ashgabat cultural and entertainment center Älem on June 4 from 10 am to 2 pm local time. Children aged 5 to 13 are invited to participate. The program of the festival includes classes on the basics of rock climbing for beginners, and for more advanced ones there is an opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

7. The State Development Bank of China is stepping up financial support for Central Asian countries by providing a special loan of 10 billion yuan. The funds are intended to support joint projects with China in Central Asia in the field of economy and trade, investment, transport, agriculture, energy and resources, and infrastructure. Central Asia is one of the first regions where the Bank began to carry out international operations.

In the area of the highest peak in the world - Mount Everest, at an altitude of about 4 thousand meters above sea level, the remains of two prehistoric deep-sea predators, called the “Himalayasaurus”, were found. Judging by the remains, the predators were about 10 meters long, had an elongated mouth and sharp teeth. They fed mainly on fish and invertebrates. About 215-212 million years ago, as a result of movements of tectonic plates, the remains of the Himalayasaurs were raised from the ocean floor and became part of the Himalayan Mountain system.

9. “Kopetdag” beat “Nebitchi” in the match of the 8th round of the championship of Turkmenistan on football among clubs of the major league. The meeting in Ashgabat on Tuesday ended with the victory of the home team with a score of 1:0. The author of the goal was Bayramgeldy Gulmayev, who scored in the 76th minute of the meeting. “Kopetdag” scored 14 points and ranks third in the standings. The Balkanabat club remains on the 4th line. In the next round, “Nebitchi” will host “Merv” at home, while “Kopetdag” will play away against “Ashgabat”. Both matches will be played on May 30.
10. The youth national football team of Turkmenistan will be in the first pot during the draw for the qualifying round of the Asian Cup in 2024. In addition to Turkmenistan, the teams of Japan, Australia, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates got into the first basket. Based on the results of the draw, 44 teams will be divided into 11 groups. The group winners, as well as the top four runners-up, will qualify for the 2024 Asian Cup final in Qatar. The Qatar national team, as the host, directly qualified for the final stage of the tournament.
