An electronic queue system is being introduced at the state borders of Kazakhstan in order to speed up the border crossing by freight transport, reports nCA with reference to the press service of the State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan.
- From February 22, the “CarGoRuqsat” online booking service will start working at the “Temir-Baba” checkpoint in the Mangistau region on the border with Turkmenistan.
- Since February 27 - at the “Tazhen” checkpoint in the Mangystau region on the border with Uzbekistan.
- At the end of February - at the checkpoint “Bakhty” (Abay region) and “Maykapchagay” (EKR) on the border with China.
To date, the “CarGoRuqsat” system has about 7,5 thousand registered users. This service has been implemented in Kazakhstan since November 2022. It was launched on the digital platform www.qoldau.kz and is free for users.
The system preliminarily checks the applicant for tax debts, for travel on toll roads, checks the registration of the tractor and trailer, and so on, the source notes.
