1. The airline “Turkmenistan” recently opened the sale of tickets at special rates for domestic routes within the country. The “through” fare permits passengers to purchase tickets for the entire route, including transfers and return flights, and makes it possible to check in for all flights within their route from the original point of departure, as well as to check in baggage along the entire route.
2. Major oil and gas companies of the UAE will take part in the development of the next stages of the “Galkynysh” field in Turkmenistan. This is stated in the Joint Declaration adopted following the official visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the UAE.
3. Screenings of Iranian films have opened in the Ashgabat cinema and concert hall. The demonstration of paintings was organized within the framework of the program of the Days of Iranian Culture in Turkmenistan. Iranian cinema is widely known in the world. A huge number of films of different genres and themes are being shot in Iran. Representatives of the Turkmen team won 5 medals. In total, over 1200 students from 26 countries of the world became participants. Of these, 515 competed in mathematics, 341 in physics and 385 in computer science.
5. A specialized economic exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be held in Ashgabat in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on February 15-17. The competition accepts poems, stories or other works of art that reflect the philosophy of Magtymguly, permeated with humanism, patriotism, a call for unity and solidarity. 7. In a restaurant in Croatia, food is prepared by robot chefs who can create over 70 different dishes. Although the process is fully automated, human intervention is still indispensable. 11. Judoka Hekim Agamamedov won a bronze medal at the European Open Championship in Sofia. The 24 years old athlete from Turkmenistan achieved this success in the weight category up to 66 kg. In the bout for bronze, Hekim Agamamedov defeated British representative Charlie Young. An athlete from Armenia Artyom Galachyan became the owner of another bronze medal. 396 judokas from 43 countries took part in the open European Cup in Bulgaria.
