To the discussions of the results of implementation of the Framework Program of Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations in 2022 was devoted a number of meetings of joined groups during which the progress reached in such areasas:
- rule of law;
- sustainable economic diversification;
- disaster risk reduction, adaptation to climate change;
- high-quality, inclusive health and social protection services;
- high-quality, inclusive and affordable education and professional development systems.
The conclusions of the General Country Analysis prepared by the UN team in Turkmenistan were also announced.
The members of the joint groups have outlined work plans for 2023 with an emphasis on the results of a Common country analysis, the “Turkmenistan: The Golden Age” edition reports.
The Framework Program of Cooperation in the field of sustainable development between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations for 2021-2025 was signed on March 14, 2020.
It is aimed at activization of interaction between Turkmenistan and UN on different directions, including maintaining economic stability and growth, protecting the social rights of the population, improving the health system and preserving the ecological balance.
