On November 18, the Sultanate of Oman celebrates the fifty second anniversary of the National Day, which is considered the main holiday in this country. It is also coincide with the birthday of
Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled from 1970 to 2020. The subjects of the Sultanate consider the years of the reign of Sultan Qaboos to be the beginning of a new history of modern Oman.
On this day, which is a day-off in Oman, is conducted a military parade, houses and roads are decorated with flags, portraits of the Sultan, garlands, celebrations are organized with camel races, fireworks.
