The Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan organizes Wadaiko performances by the Japanese drum group SAI.
This cultural event, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkmenistan, will be held in the cities of Turkmenabat, Mary and Ashgabat according to the following schedule:
- in Turkmenabat, the performance of Wadaiko will be held on November 15 at the State Music and Drama Theater of the Lebap velayat named after S. Seidi. The time of the event is from 19:00 to 20:30.
- in Mary, the performance will be held on November 17 at the State Drama Theater of Mary velayat named after Kemine. The time of the event is from 19:00 to 20:30.
- in Ashgabat, the performance will be held on November 20 at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The time of the event is from 14:00 to 15:30.
Admission to the events is free, however, in order to attend them, you must submit an application in accordance with the requirements set out on the official website of the Embassy.
Wadaiko is the Japanese art of drumming. These performances complete the cycle of cultural events organized by the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan during this year in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Turkmen-Japanese diplomatic relations.
