Oleg Kononenko congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday

Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, trainer, astronaut-test engineer, Commander of the Cosmonauts Department of the State Corporation for Space Activities “Roscosmos” Oleg Kononenko congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday. Today, the head of Turkmenistan turned 41 years old.

“In a short time at the head of the state, you have proved yourself as a far–sighted and energetic leader who clearly knows his historical mission - to lead the people of Turkmenistan to new achievements and successes in all spheres. Your international meetings, promoted new initiatives and proposals approve the continuation of the course to strengthen the role of neutral Turkmenistan as one of the peacekeeping centers on a global scale, making a huge contribution to strengthening stability and security, establishing trust, equality and justice in interstate relations.

I’m sure that under your leadership, my Motherland – Turkmenistan, Turkmen people will carry on their creative path to new heights of progress and prosperity, becoming one of the most dynamically developing countries with a powerful economy and social sector, modern science, high culture and education. With good reason, I associate the current and future successes with your tireless state and international activities,” reads the congratulatory message of Oleg Kononenko published in today's issue of the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

O.Kononenko wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov and his family strong health, wellbeing, many joys and successes, and to compatriots – Turkmen people – “peaceful sky, new outstanding accomplishments under the energetic leadership” of the head of Turkmenistan.

He also expressed hope for a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, declaring that would be glad to visit his “blessed Motherland” again.
