The Head of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the development of regions and agricultural work

The state of affairs in the agro-industrial complex, the pace of seasonal field work in the regions, the implementation of programs for the socio-economic development of the country, preparations for the celebration of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence were discussed today during a workshop held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the digital system.

Having listened to the reports of the hakims of the velayats on the state of affairs in the regions and Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, the head of state noted the importance of all the work being carried out in the agro-industrial complex, including ensuring high rates of harvesting cotton and sown wheat, their completion on time.

“In order to achieve the set goals, a lot of efforts should be made and appropriate measures should be taken,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, ordering to ensure the smooth functioning of cotton gins, receiving points, combines and other equipment.

The President of the country gave a number of specific instructions, including providing grain growers with high-quality seed material, using existing agricultural machinery at full capacity.

“In order to successfully solve the tasks set, all structures must work together,” the head of state said.

“At the same time, work on the care of winter potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops should not be overlooked,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, giving specific instructions to the hakims.

The President of Turkmenistan also stressed the importance of proper preparation for the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the independence of the Motherland. Special emphasis was placed on priority areas of socio-economic development of the region, the need for timely and high-quality commissioning of the facilities planned for this year, the information program “Watan” of Turkmen television reported.
