Turkmen football player Rahat Japarov, who plays for “Abdysh-Ata”, became the winner of the Kyrgyz Cup as part of the team from Kant.
In the final of the Cup of the country “Abdysh-Ata” beat “Neftchi” from Kochkor-Ata. The match, held today in Bishkek, ended with a score of 1-0, and the only goal in the match was scored by Kyrgyz striker Atay Jumashev in the 26th minute. The Turkmen goalkeeper defended the whole match “to zero”.
“Abdysh-Ata” won the Kyrgyz Cup for the fifth time in its history. With this victory, the team secured the first ticket to the AFC Cup in its history.
The awarding ceremony of the teams was attended by Secretary General of the Kyrgyz Football Union Nurdin Bukuev, President of the KPFL Nogaev Ulanbek and Vice–President of the league Ilgiz Sadyraliev. The officials of the final match were awarded with memorable gifts. The author of the only goal, Atay Jumashev, was recognized as the best player of the match.
26-year-old Japarov won the national Cup for the first time in his football career. Japarov has been playing for “Abdysh-Ata” since January 2022.
