In the first half of 2022, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to 418,2 million USD, reports review.uz with reference to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that according to the results of January-June 2022, the volume of foreign trade of Uzbekistan with the countries of Central Asia increased by 15,1% and reached 3,4 billion USD.
At the same time, the total volume of trade with Turkmenistan for the specified period amounted to 418,2 million USD, which is 9,8% more than last year. It is also reported that exports accounted for only 91,8 million USD, while Turkmen imports exceeded 325 million USD.
