Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with his colleague and Foreign Minister of Georgia Lia Darchiashvili, reports Agenda.ge.
Within the framework of the visit of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to Ashgabat, Meredov and Darchiashvili discussed trade, economic, transport, energy, logistics and tourism relations.
During the meeting, a program of cooperation between the two ministries for 2023-2024 was signed, which will further strengthen bilateral cooperation in foreign policy, expand economic ties, improve and develop the international legal framework.
The parties especially noted cooperation within the framework of regional transport and transit corridors, noting new opportunities in this direction.
