In the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of healthcare and medical industry of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, the Government of Russia allocated budget places for 2022/23 academic year for the preparation of medical specialists of Turkmenistan.
This was reported to Turkmenportal by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
It is noted that the training of Turkmen medical workers in leading Russian universities will take place according to the programs:
- residency (specialties – “Anesthesiology and resuscitation” and “Epidemiology”);
- postgraduate studies (specialties “Urology” and “X-ray endovascular surgery”).
It should also be added that during the period from 2017 to 2022, 113 Turkmen specialists in various fields were sent to advanced training in advanced clinics of the Russian Federation.
