Investors offered 1,5 billion euros as an initial investment for the development of the “Ashgabat City” megaproject.
This decision was announced during the negotiations between representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture and the economic block of Turkmenistan with partner investors - NKY Architects & Engineers and ERG International UK LTD on the topic of management and financing of Ashgabat City.
As part of the meeting, which was held online, the Turkmen side presented a residential complex being built in the north of the Turkmen capital, which is an important social facility, and stressed the importance of attracting investment in it.
Emphasizing the importance and necessity of introducing the concept of "Project Management", the head of NKY Architects & Engineers, Emre Yazici, introduced the head of the investment company ERG International UK LTD, M. Dedeoglu, who, in turn, pointing to the authoritative investment status of Turkmenistan, proposed an initial investment of 1, 5 billion euros.
We remind that a year ago, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, the laying of a large Ashgabat City complex took place. In this grandiose megaproject, everything new and progressive that exists in the world architectural and urban planning will find its embodiment.
On the territory of the complex, it is planned to build 180 fashionable high-rise, especially, 12-35-store buildings of eight types, which will house 17 836 apartments designed for more than 107 000 residents. It is also planned to build a Children's Creativity Center, a park, transport infrastructure facilities, public utilities, engineering and communication systems, and internal roads. All Ashgabat City facilities must meet modern standards both in terms of design, construction quality and aesthetics, as well as in terms of ecology and environmental conservation.
In order to ensure a high level of construction of Ashgabat City, an appropriate Interdepartmental Commission has been created and its composition has been approved.
