On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the “Turkmenfilm” Association named after Oguzhan of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography invites domestic creative teams to take part in the film festival of artistic, journalistic and chronicle-documentary films “My Motherland”. This is reported in today's newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
The film festival is held to identify talented film directors, playwrights, cameramen and other employees of the film industry, as well as to create films with an artistic reflection of the successes achieved during the years of independence.
Films will be accepted until September 1, 2021.
On September 12, the jury will determine the winners in the following categories:
- the main prize of the film festival;
- jury's sympathy prize;
- best film director;
- best screenplay;
- best cinematography;
- best film editor;
- best film composer;
- the best artist of the film.
