President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Upon arrival at the site, samples of various types of drones and information on their characteristics were presented to the attention of the head of Turkmenistan. A serviceman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to the leader of the nation on the demonstrated UAVs, the specifics of their use, flight mode and the appropriate equipment of devices designed to obtain the necessary information.
As reported, the production of fire warning systems has also been launched, which are installed in the residential buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and at social and administrative facilities. Videos about the production and designs of technical means designed to ensure fire safety, materials used in their manufacture were demonstrated.
As the specialist said, with the help of the monitor, one can get acquainted with the activities of the Center, where comprehensive work is being carried out to manufacture and launch unmanned aerial vehicles, and procure their parts.
During his acquaintance with the exhibited equipment, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took a detailed interest in unmanned aerial vehicles, their types and specifics of preparation, drawings. With the help of special diagrams, photographs and other visual means, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country was presented with detailed information about the UAVs produced at the Center, their characteristic features.
Along with this, it was reported that it is possible to manufacture any equipment based on 3D models of devices manufactured here and related tools.
The serviceman of the State Border Service provided information on the devices used in border units, on the advantages of using drones for video surveillance in the border area, as well as on the operational characteristics of the UAV. It was noted that the introduction of a digital system made it possible to increase the efficiency of the Border Service.
Then the serviceman of the Ministry of Defense reported on the devices and digital technologies used in military units, their importance for the successful fulfillment of their responsible mission by the defenders of the Motherland. It was reported that special attention is paid to the use of the latest technologies in the activities of military units, including during training exercises conducted by the Ministry of Defense.
Also, the projects planned for the construction of facilities were presented to the attention of the President of Turkmenistan within the framework of the General Plan for the construction of the Center for unmanned aerial vehicles.
Among them, projects of hangars for aircraft and motor transport equipment, offices with a control and automatic control center for aircraft, an observation post, as well as buildings of a greenhouse and an electrical substation subordinate to the Center were demonstrated.
Having expressed appropriate comments and corrections on the submitted projects, the leader of the nation noted that advanced experience and innovative technologies should be actively applied during the construction of facilities. Unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured here should be designed for effective use in various industries.
At present, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized, the electronic industry is actively developing in the country. In this regard, the head of state focused on the tasks of expanding the production of this equipment, which is in demand, among other things, in order to ensure fire safety, on the importance of introducing advanced technologies and know-how into practice, having addressed a number of instructions to the relevant leaders.
After familiarizing himself with the demonstrated devices and the parts used in their production, the leader of the nation instructed to make every effort to ensure the high quality and long-term operation of this equipment.
Having examined the territory on which the new facilities of the Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles will be built, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to keep under strict control issues related to the use of modern materials in construction, ensuring high quality standards and the scheduled work schedule, having given a number of instructions in this regard.
In recent years, thanks to the selfless activities of the head of state, great importance has been attached to the development of the domestic electronic industry on the basis of advanced world achievements and innovative technologies in this area. And the next important step on this path was the establishment of the UAV Center's activities, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
