Restrictions in Turkmenistan extended until the first day of spring

In connection with the difficult epidemiological situation in the region and the world, as well as in order to protect the health of citizens, Turkmenistan extended the previously imposed restrictions on the operation of trade and catering facilities, the sphere of culture and services, and travel until March 1, 2021. It is reported by Orient.

In the country during this period, the work of trade enterprises is limited, with the exception of food stores and consumer goods, as well as catering: banquet halls, restaurants, cafes and canteens.

The activities of theaters, cinemas, beauty salons, baths and sports facilities (swimming pools, fitness and aerobics clubs), amusement parks, museums, short-term paid courses and gaming centers, regardless of the form of ownership, are also limited.

Until March 1, the work permit for hairdressing and sewing ateliers is extended, subject to strict observance of current sanitary and hygienic standards, disinfection rules when working hours from 09:00 to 20:00.

For the same period, the restrictions on the holding of all sports competitions, including the Universiades and Spartakiads, visiting mosques andpilgrimages, have been extended.

Also, until March 1, the ban on passenger intercity buses and passenger rail transportation has been extended, the source said.

Earlier we reported that restrictive measures were extended in Turkmenistan until January 31, 2021, and Turkmen Airlines extended the cancellation of international flights until spring.
