Organizational issues related to the participation of Turkmenistan in the world exhibition EXPO-2020 in Dubai were discussed at an online meeting of representatives of the Ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of the country with the leadership of the organizing Committee of the Exhibition. This is reported by the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
In April of this year, taking into account the epidemiological situation in the world, Turkmenistan, among the participating countries, supported the postponement of EXPO-2020 to the next year, proposed by the government of the UAE. Now the Grand forum is scheduled to be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
During the meeting, it was noted that our country's participation in the EXPO in Dubai will contribute to expanding the geography and range of cooperation with all interested partners, promoting domestic products in foreign markets, as well as familiarizing ourselves with the world's best practices in various fields.
