The President of Turkmenistan today signed a Decree authorizing the Agency "Turkmen airlines" to conclude a contract with the Public joint stock company "Kazan helicopter plant" of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation:
- contract for the purchase of “Mi-17-1W” model ambulance helicopter, spare parts, consumables and necessary equipment;
- the contract for the purchase of an “ANSAT” ambulance helicopter, spare parts, consumables and necessary equipment, as well as training of specialists, on the terms of delivery of the helicopter to Turkmenistan, the press service of the head of state reports.
Signing this Resolution at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that these models are equipped with modern medical equipment and adapted to the conditions of Turkmenistan.
Noting with satisfaction the progressive and fruitful nature of cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan, which is successfully developing within the framework of the interstate dialogue with the Russian Federation, the President stressed that the Turkmen-Tatarstan relations are a clear example of effective partnership, which is based on solid experience of interaction.
