At the Uzynada field, during the testing of exploration well No.1 in January this year, an influx of raw materials with a daily flow rate of 106 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and 143 tons of gas condensate was obtained from red-colored deposits.
The promising Uzynada field, located in the Caspian region, was discovered as a result of earlier geological exploration work by “Turkmennebit” specialists. The first ultra-deep well in our country was drilled here.
In June 2017, drilling of an ultra-deep well with a design depth of more than 7,000 thousand meters was completed on Uzynada square. During its successful testing in April 2019, an industrial inflow of hydrocarbons with a daily flow rate of about 125 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and 129 tons of gas condensate was obtained in the range of 6447-6655 meters.
Well development was carried out in real time on a round-the-clock basis using a system complex developed by the international Corporation "Shlumberger" for monitoring and modeling drilling processes.
The technology introduced allowed drilling a horizontal section of the well in record time, reducing drilling time and reducing financial costs, as well as eliminating the loss of drilling fluid. When developing layers, a diamond bit made of high-strength steel and reinforced with diamond tools is used.
Currently, the specialists of “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmengeologiya” continue exploration work in Uzynada to further study and use the large potential of this field, the press service of the oil and Gas complex of Turkmenistan reports.
