A literary and educational event dedicated to books and literary heritage was held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University. Faculty, library staff, and students participated.

The meeting was timed to coincide with the first anniversary of the State Program for the Development of the Library System of Turkmenistan for 2025-2029, as well as with lectures held at the university from January 11 to February 11. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The speeches emphasized the role of books in shaping the spiritual values of youth, the development of science and education, and the importance of literary heritage in strengthening national identity.

Within the framework of the event, a book exhibition was held in the foyer of the Faculty of Geography. It included works of classical and modern Turkmen literature, research papers by university faculty, and student projects dedicated to the history, culture, and achievements of Turkmenistan.
