Fifth-year veterinary medicine students from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute are completing their internship at the State Veterinary Service in Dashoguz.
According to the institute's website, during their internship, future veterinarians become closely familiar with everyday veterinary activities, such as examining animals, administering treatment, organizing preventative measures against infectious diseases, and adhering to veterinary and sanitary regulations.
In addition, students learn to identify the causes of emerging diseases, develop appropriate treatment measures, and make the right decisions in a production environment.
During their research internship at the bacteriology laboratory of the State Veterinary Service of the Dashoguz velayat, students acquired skills in conducting bacteriological studies of microorganisms, mastered laboratory diagnostic methods for diseases, learned how to develop treatment and prevention plans based on the results obtained, and how to use laboratory equipment.
